In the event that one needs to withdraw cash, ATMs can be found at any shopping center and will accept cards with worldwide ATM functionality, e.g. Visa Plus and Mastercard Cirrus. Two of the most prominent bank in the country are Bank Islam Brunei Darussalam (BIBD) and Baiduri Bank, which suport both Visa and Mastercard cards, as well as UnionPay (for Baiduri only). Other International banks, that can be found are Maybank, Standard Charted Bank, United Overseas Bank Limited (UOB), RHB Bank, and Bank of China.

Brunei has three telecommunication companies: Datastream Digital Sdn Bhd (DST), Imagine Sdn Bhd (Imagine), and Progresif Cellular Sdn Bhd (Progresif). Travelers can buy a data package suited to their need at the airport, where all three company have booths at the arrival hall
TRANSPORTATION
For this year’s APICTA, a shuttle bus service will be provided to transport all APICTA 2024 delegates from the suggested hotels to the main venue during the judging days, as well as for airport transfers.

Another alternatives that the delegates can use for transportation during their stay, is by using Dart Brunei apps. Dart Brunei is a ride-hailing service in Brunei Darussalam that provides a convenient, reliable, and safe way for people to book transportation via a mobile app. Similar to other ride-hailing platforms around the world, Dart allows users to request a ride, view the estimated fare, and pay through the app.
The service offers an alternative to traditional taxis and is part of Brunei's effort to improve public transportation and embrace digital solutions. Dart Brunei is known for its user-friendly interface, competitive pricing, and focus on enhancing mobility within the country.

Dart Brunei allows up to 4 passengers per ride, with prices that are discounted and calculated based on the distance and time of travel. Please note that prices may differ if you change your final destination.

In the event of an emergency during APICTA 2024, delegates can rest assured knowing that medical assistance is readily accessible. The nearby RIPAS Hospital ensures that an ambulance can arrive within 5 minutes of being called from the main event venue, providing swift response times in urgent situations. Additionally, we will have a trained first aider on standby onsite throughout the entire event, prepared to offer immediate medical support should the need arise.

For more advanced medical care, Brunei is also home to two other highly regarded hospitals: Jerudong Park Medical Centre and Gleneagles Hospital, both equipped with state-of-the-art facilities to handle a wide range of medical needs.
